The fourth Rutte government is born in the Netherlands.

It took the parties 271 days to reach an agreement and form a coalition government.

This is the longest negotiation in the history of the Netherlands.

The governing coalition will consist of four parties: the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy of the current head of the executive (Vvd), the Christian Democrats of the Board of Directors, the Social Liberals of the D66, and the Christian Union ( Cu).

Rutte, who has led the country continuously since 2010, is the second longest-serving leader in the EU after Angela Merkel. Since January, when he announced the en bloc resignation of the executive following the "bonus children" scandal, he was in charge of dealing with current affairs. Then the elections in March and the difficult negotiations to form a new coalition government.
