The fearful decision has arrived: from Monday in Austria there will be a general lockdown.

The measure, just announced by the government, will be valid for 20 days and then will remain in effect for people not vaccinated against the coronavirus.

The country is facing a new emergency linked to infections and while at first a national provision, rather concentrated in highly critical areas, seemed excluded, this morning the executive confirmed its validity for the whole territory.

From 1 February 2022, according to what is learned, the vaccination obligation for all will start.
