France, more violence and hundreds of arrests. The revolt infects Switzerland

Another night of clashes in France linked to the violence that erupted after the police killing of a very young man in Nanterre, in the banlieue of Paris. over 700 people arrested, 194 in the capital alone.

In Nanterre, on the other hand, after the funeral of Nahel Merzouk , there was relative calm. Seven law enforcement vans manned the courthouse.

Accidents were recorded instead in Brest, in the Finistère department, in the Brittany region, on the west coast of France. Protesters used flares and fireworks against police and a fire broke out at a Renault dealership.

But the revolt has also reached Switzerland: yesterday evening there were clashes in the center of Lausanne, with urban violence and looting in the Flon district. An Fnac shop and a shoe shop were damaged and looted. About 200 people then confronted the police who arrived in riot gear.
