New squeeze in Finland against Covid-19. In fact, the Helsinki government has announced the blocking of entry to all unvaccinated foreign travelers.

Non-vaccinated foreigners will be denied entry unless they are under the age of 16, resident in Finland, are diplomats or employed in essential activities or have non-deferrable family reasons as the reason for the trip.

Those who are vaccinated will still have to show a negative Covid test carried out in the previous 48 hours to enter the country.

The measures entered into force today and also apply to EU citizens.

Initially the Finnish government had announced that entry into the country would be possible, from 28 December, only with a negative test, mandatory for vaccinated and unvaccinated. Then, in the last few hours, Helsinki has opted for a further tightening.
