Explosion in a school in Kabul: at least twenty dead

Twenty people were killed and over 35 injured in a suicide bombing , followed by a shooting inside a school west of the capital Kabul.

According to reports from the Al-Jazeera broadcaster, which cites Afghan government sources, the explosion occurred inside the "Kaj" educational center in the Dasht al-Barshi neighborhood, inhabited by the Shiite community of Hazara.

Kabul police spokesman Khaled Zadran confirmed the explosion, without providing any hypothesis as to the authorship of the attack, which has not yet been claimed.
