The hearing at the Tel Aviv Family Court on the case of Eitan , the small Israeli who survived the Mottarone massacre, was brought forward from 29 September to next Thursday 23 September. The local media reported it.
According to radio Kan, Mrs. Biran, that is the paternal aunt of little Eitan - since yesterday in Israel - turned to the Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit asking to "have Eitan back as soon as possible on the basis of the Hague Convention". Aya Biran also went to the police for questioning. The lawyers are working on the possibility that the woman, entrusted with the protection of little Eitan, "can be present at the hearing on September 23" next in Israel, notwithstanding the current provisions on the Covid quarantine for those arriving from abroad.
In the meantime, however, the words of another aunt of Eitan's: Gali Peleg, sister of the mother of little Eitan, arrive for the first time through an interview resumed today by the press agencies.
"I'm just focused on Eitan right now. And I don't mind everything around," explains Gali peleg.
The 29-year-old, who had been silent since her father Shmuel Peleg - breaking Italian law - returned to Israel with the child, adds: "I would like to believe that we will be able to reach some agreement, an understanding. We are ready to put everything together. aside. We want to show them (to the Biran eds) that Eitan is better off staying here, as his parents wanted, who always told him they would soon be back in Israel ".
The child's maternal aunt points out: "I'm focused on Eitan now. I want to honor my sister's wishes now, we had a deal." Then he adds: "I want to adopt him and raise him as my son. My sister was also my best friend. Eitan is the thing that matters most to me, the only thing that interests me and my family." The aunt still assures us: "For him I will do everything. We will do everything".
