Almost all of Europe struggling with a leap in Covid infections, driven by the Omicron variant.

In the last 24 hours, the UK has recorded a new record of cases: 122,186, over 2,000 more

On the other hand, 94,124 new cases of Covid have been registered in France in the last 24 hours, the highest number since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020, according to data released by the health authorities. There are 169 deaths and bring the total number of deaths to 122,462.
