Canberra, gunshots at the airport: gunman under arrest

The incident in the main terminal of the airport , no casualties or injuries were reported.
According to the Guardian, the police believe that only one person , already arrested, is responsible for the accident and stressed that the situation is already under control and the airport should reopen within the day.
According to witnesses, the arrested person "fired into the air". Images circulated on social media show a police officer holding a man on the ground inside the terminal while the general alarm sounds. Several bullet holes are visible on the exterior glass facade of the airport .
The firearm used by the man, the police explained, has already been seized.
