There are about ten people from Cagliari on the MSC Euribia docked in port: they are awaiting the Farnesina task force, some are thinking of reaching Oman by land.

Second night stranded in the port of Dubai on board the MSC Euribia for a group of Cagliari residents .
They have been stopped since Saturday, when the escalation in the Middle East halted their transfer to Doha, the departure airport for the return journey to Italy.
On the ship there are many Italians and two groups of people from Cagliari, one of seven and the other of four or five people .

Tourists, who for security reasons cannot leave the terminal, have received no further communications. Just this morning , they heard the roar of an explosion in the distance. The "shield" over Dubai appears to be working, but as time passes, fear is understandably growing . And with it, the desire to return home. The Cagliari residents were supposed to arrive at Elmas Airport today, as scheduled.
Some passengers are now considering booking their own transportation to reach Oman by land and then catching a flight to Europe . But the general consensus is to wait for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to organize a task force to bring the Italians home.
The ship, at least for now, appears to be a safe haven, but the bombing continues in Dubai. So much so that the over two hundred Italian students stranded in the city yesterday took refuge in the garage bunkers of the hotel where they are staying.
