Boat loaded with migrants sinks off the coast of Cuba

An old motorboat carrying 23 migrants sank off the coast of Cuba. Two people drowned while the others were rescued by the Coast Guard who is looking for any missing persons.

The accident also occurred due to bad weather conditions, in front of the city of Santa Cruz del Norte, in the province of Mayabque. The boat, with which the group of Cubans tried to reach the United States, was registered in the United States.
