Joe Biden is the first president in history to fly from Israel to Saudi Arabia .
The US leader ended his visit to the Jewish state and left Tel Aviv airport for Riyadh , following the decision of the Saudi Kingdom to reopen airspace to all carriers, putting an end to the ban on flights to and from Israel , a country that King Salman's monarchy does not officially recognize.
A decision that Biden himself described as "historic" and "the result of the president's diplomatic efforts with Saudi Arabia for many months, which paves the way for a more integrated, stable and secure Middle East , vital for security and the prosperity of the USA and for the security and prosperity of Israel ".
