Beating outside the pub, 25-year-old Italian in a coma. The family: "We learned about it from social networks"

A 25-year-old Italian boy , Marco Pannone originally from Fondi, Lazio, was attacked on the night between Friday and Saturday and is now in a coma - after major head surgery – admitted to the intensive care unit of King's College Hospital.
The family was notified via Facebook by a friend of the boy who reported the beating. The young man's body was found on the ground in the back of the club.
Pannone moved to live in London six years ago. “ We can't get information , it's absurd – the uncle tells the newspaper Leggo -. Was it possible that there were no cameras inside or outside the club? Why doesn't anyone help us? We have also been completely abandoned by the Italian institutions. We asked the Consulate and an interpreter for help because we don't speak the language."
