The rift in relations between France, the United States and Great Britain widens, after the announcement of the agreement signed by Washington and London with Australia, for joining the pact called Aukus (acronym of the three countries, to indicate a sort of NATO of the Pacific), which provides, among other things, the supply to the Canberra government of 8 American submarines.

The fact that the agreement has blown up an agreement already in place between Paris and Australia - worth over 50 billion dollars - for the supply of submarines, has put France on a rampage. Not to mention, Paris complains, that the allies did not communicate in time their intention to sign the agreement.

After the explosion of the case, now come the harsh words, pronounced on TV, by the French Foreign Minister, Jean-Yves Le Drian, according to which "there was a lie, there was duplicity, there was a rupture serious of trust ".

Furthermore, for Le Drian, what success "will weigh on the future of NATO".

"In a true alliance we talk to each other, we respect each other. It wasn't like that," added the minister. The same recalled that "for the first time in history between the US and France we called our ambassador back for consultations".

Then the gloss: "It is a heavy political act that represents the gravity of the crisis between our countries and with Australia".
