Antonio Guterres in contact with a positive at Covid, is in isolation

Antonio Guterres, UN secretary general, is in isolation at home as a precaution after coming into contact with a United Nations official who tested positive for Covid.

The news was given by the spokesman for the UN headquarters.

Guterres, 72, has no symptoms and has already undergone a swab, the result is negative.

As a precaution, however, all commitments in person have been canceled until the next test that will be performed tomorrow.

The secretary general recently received the third dose of the vaccine.
