"Working peacefully" while waiting for justice to take its course. Alessandra Todde and the majority are moving forward . The political millstone on their shoulders, the order of forfeiture of the electoral guarantee college, is one of those that weigh heavily.
But the work of the commissions is starting again, amidst controversy . Starting with Health, a priority issue so much so that it has also left the budget behind (the Region is in provisional exercise until January 31): tomorrow the Sixth commission led by Carla Fundoni (PD) will begin with the assessor Armando Bartolazzi the cycle of hearings on the decree law 40 for the reorganization of the health system , which also contains the provision for the administration of the Local Health Authorities. On Thursday 9th, the Land Government commission will meet, chaired by the Five Star Movement member Roberto Li Gioi.
Between fake news circulating on WhatsApp and the phrases of some Democrats in informal conversations reported in various newspapers , the climate is very poisonous. So much so that the Democratic Party council group, this morning, clarified in a note that the only ones entrusted with "all official communications of the party are the regional secretary and president of the Council, the group leader and the vice president of the Council" . Who, obviously, reiterate their support for the governor, "certain of the transparency and correctness of her actions".
For the Progressisti, the group leader Francesco Agus speaks: «There is no malicious behavior, there is no fraudulent conduct nor anything that, from a political point of view, could be relevant. The Assembly cannot be eliminated like any other board of directors because of a simple administrative defect ».
The opposition instead goes on the attack, speaks of "institutional sloppiness" and asks for a step back. First of all with Paolo Truzzu , who asks Todde not to "venture" into major reforms given the situation. According to the FdI group leader , a technical budget must be approved and then we must return to the polls . The same position expressed by Pietro Pittalis (FI).
This last hypothesis is very far away. Because the most disparate legal opinions are circulating in the palace ( there are those who think that the vote should be held as soon as possible in the chamber, those who think it is better to present the appeals and let the magistrates decide ), but the only certainty is that for the moment we are moving forward.
Indeed, optimism is growing in the majority and a possible way out is emerging . The Regional Council Elections Committee, called to express its opinion within 90 days, could declare itself not competent to express its opinion on the dismissal of the president. The reason? Alessandra Todde is not a regional councilor elected like the other members of the parliament, but she is by right as she was elected president of the Region . In that case, a judge could decide, but only if Todde makes the announced appeal. An appeal that, it seems, will not be filed immediately.
