The bill on suitable areas should be approved by the Council between September 15 and 20. This was stated by the President of the Region Alessandra Todde at the end of the Campo Largo summit, before moving to the Fiera in Cagliari to meet the mayors of the metropolitan city.

This confirms what has emerged in the last few hours: the majority intends to bring this bill to the Chamber first, then the one functional to the administration of the ASL. "We want it to be discussed as quickly as possible", he explained, "we are doing it also because we believe that on September 20th there could be an expression of the Constitutional Court with respect to the hearing on the suspension of the moratorium requested by the Government".

A government that, Todde added, "is behaving incredibly with Sardinia. I remember that a suspension, beyond the Aosta Valley that had used the Austrian law in times of Covid, has never been used in seventy years. It would be a gigantic institutional affront to an Island that is trying to defend itself in every way". On this topic, in particular, a press conference has been called for tomorrow by the president of the regional council Piero Comandini.

The summit also discussed the proposed Pratobello 24 initiative, on which - from what emerges - the governor does not intend to raise barricades. The Council also took stock of the functioning of the moratorium that prohibits the construction of new renewable energy plants for the next 18 months: overall, requests are moving forward for a total of 37 plants (4 wind and 33 photovoltaic).
