Giorgia Meloni al Colle to receive the assignment from Mattarella

Today is Giorgia Meloni 's day.

The FdI leader went up to the Colle to receive the task of forming the government from Mattarella.

This morning the consultations ended, with the center-right delegation that presented itself together with the Quirinale: “Together with the entire center-right coalition - Meloni wrote on social media - we will go up to the Quirinale. We are ready to give Italy a government that faces the urgencies and challenges of our time with awareness and competence ”.

The conversation lasted about ten minutes , at the end Meloni said a few words: "The delegation of the center-right coalition agreed with the President the need to give this nation a new government in the shortest possible time because the urgencies are very many, all the coalition gave unanimous indication as the representation of the parliamentary majority proposing the undersigned as the person in charge of forming the new government . We await the decisions of the President of the Republic and we are already announcing that we are ready , we want to proceed as soon as possible ".

At 16.30 the leader of FdI was summoned to the Quirinale.

Yesterday the Head of State received the Presidents of the Chambers (Ignazio La Russa and Lorenzo Fontana), the Mixed Group and the Autonomies, for the Third Pole it was Carlo Calenda, Giuseppe Conte for the Cinque Stelle, and Enrico Letta for the Pd.
