Not just opposition to wind power that threatens the Einstein Telescope. This morning's assembly in the regional council, which was also attended by 38 mayors of the Nuorese area, was an opportunity for the president of the Region Christian Solinas to take stock of the two hot topics on Sardinia's political agenda: the reshuffle - which has been talked about for a good year – and the Omnibus 2 law.

RESHUFFLE. The leader of the League, Matteo Salvini, after a meeting in Rome with the governor had assured that the new councilors would be appointed within this week . It will not be like this: the parties - Forza Italia and Fratelli d'Italia in the lead - have not yet provided the names of their exponents in addition. Alessandra Zedda (Lavoro, resigned) for the Azzurri and Gianni Lampis (Ambiente, elected MP) for Giorgia Meloni's party must be substitutes for the two acronyms. Then there is the Transport box vacated by the outgoing Giorgio Todde (Lega). To whom and how the proxies will be redistributed is not known.

"I'm ready," Solinas said this morning, "I'm waiting for some political forces to define their internal paths to suggest the curricula of eligible candidates as replacements for the councilors who have left." We will start from the zeroing of the current junta, "which will allow us to think in an overall way and to relaunch government action".

THE OMNIBUS 2. A relaunch that passes, at least according to the vision of those in the majority, also from the approval of Omnibus 2: an all-encompassing 210 million law (including paragraphs on the functioning of the offices), as the name suggests, which should allocate resources to restart the economy.

Norma, which ended up in the sights of the opposition, which Solinas and his majority would like to approve quickly. For the measure to be effective, the go-ahead must arrive by 30 November: " It is a problem of political will" , argues the president, "article 102 can easily be used, which provides for the urgent nature of the measure, and go to the Chamber immediately on speeches that concern everyone. There must be no partisan flags on the omnibus, it concerns all Sardinians and calls all the political forces of the regional council to responsibility to find the fastest possible routes ».

REPLY TO THE CRITICISM. A thought also to the fierce criticism of the opposition. Of the Omnibus 1 only 39% of the resources have been used, the 2 will have an even worse fate: this is their thesis. «The theme of the previous omnibus», replied Solinas, «is completely different: in the many amendments that have been approved, the Council has introduced rules that the offices have considered particularly complex or that needed to be transmitted to the European Union before being expenses. In this case, however, we have foreseen only five large areas of intervention, for which the resources are all immediately expendable».
