After securing survival against Torino last night, winning 2-1 in the final match of the season at the Unipol Domus , Cagliari will close out the 2025-2026 Serie A season at AC Milan. The match now has a date and time: Sunday at 8:45 PM. At the Meazza, Fabio Pisacane's team will complete their campaign, already assured of staying in the top flight.

AC Milan, coached by former Cagliari player Massimiliano Allegri, would secure Champions League qualification with a win (or a combination of positive results elsewhere). A draw or defeat would mean they would have to monitor the results of Como (playing in Cremona) and Juventus (derby at the Olimpico against Torino), with Como and Juventus both two points behind, and Roma, who are tied on points and travel to Verona. The Rossoblu haven't won at the Meazza against the Rossoneri since June 1, 1997: that too was on the last matchday, a 0-1 loss with a Roberto Muzzi penalty . And in general, since another last matchday, a 2-1 victory on May 28, 2017, in their farewell match at the Sant'Elia stadium, with Pisacane scoring the decisive goal in stoppage time.

This is the complete schedule for the final day of Serie A , which will see the matches for European cups and relegation play simultaneously.
