“The last Habanera”, the award-winning short film by the Nuorese director Carlo Licheri, has been selected for the 27th edition of “Visioni Italiane 2021”. This is the festival of the beginnings, a national competition, scheduled from 25 to 31 October at the Lumiere cinema in Bologna. The short is running in the “Visioni Sarde” category.

“I sincerely thank the cast, the crew, the distribution, all and all those who contributed to the making of the film, for this prestigious goal achieved”, comments Licheri, who will be in Bologna for the festival appointments.

The plot tells the sentimental stories of Ciccio and Bruna, radio announcer and actress in a Cagliari station set up in an air-raid shelter and the consequences of the situation in the broadcasts on the day the end of the Second World War is announced.

Interpreters are Enrica Mura, Stefano Cancellu, Diego Pani, Giaime Mannias, Federico Saba, Marco Bisi, Marco Pittau.
