Work in Pirri: closed roads and one-way streets. At Marina, here are the pedestrian areas

From February 3 to March 31, traffic changes in the area of Via Degli Astri in the Municipality of Pirri.
The Municipality of Cagliari announced this in a note, which reads: «For infrastructural interventions to safeguard against exceptional events and extraordinary maintenance of the rainwater network in the Pirri area (collector C70), the modification of vehicular traffic in via Degli Astri is planned.
In particular, from Monday 3 February to Monday 31 March 2025 the following is planned:
- the closure to vehicular traffic in via Degli Astri, between via Duca Di Genova and via Guttuso;
- the establishment of one-way traffic in Via Degli Astri, between Via Guttuso and Via De Chirico, with direction of travel from Via Guttuso to Via De Chirico;
- the establishment of the mandatory left turn in via Guttuso, at the intersection with via Degli Astri;
- the establishment of the mandatory right turn on Via Degli Astri (South/East direction) at the intersection with Via De Chirico;
"During the interventions - specifies the Municipality - pedestrian paths and the safe transit of pedestrians will be guaranteed".
In another press release, the Municipality of Cagliari announces that from January 31st until October 31st 2025, 24 hours a day, every day of the week, pedestrian areas will be established in the following streets of the Marina district:
- via Cavour, in the stretch between via Sant'Eulalia and via Lepanto;
- via Dei Mille, in the section between via Cavour and via Roma, including the cross street; via Sant'Eulalia, in the section between via Sicilia and via Cavour;
- via Porcile, in the stretch between via Cavour and via Sardegna.
"The ban on circulation and parking - concludes Palazzo Bacaredda - will be in force for all categories of vehicles, with the exception of those intended for disabled services, rescue, police and emergency services".
