He was hiding 23 kg of marijuana in his house, already divided in hermetically sealed plastic bags ready for sale.
A 60-year-old man was arrested in Loiri Porto San Paolo by the Olbia carabinieri on charges of possession for the purpose of drug trafficking.
The soldiers of the Loiri Station, suspicious of the behavior of the 60-year-old, already known to the police for specific precedents, showed up yesterday at his home to carry out a search, in search of weapons. In the house they found 23 kg of drugs already packaged in packs of 1 kg each, as well as a scale, some sieves and other packaging material.
The man was then arrested and is now placed under house arrest.
In another operation in Pittulongu, the carabinieri arrested a 26-year-old young man who kept 65 grams of cocaine and 900 euros from the sale in the rented house. House arrest has also been ordered for him.
