Wind and severe weather in the Nuoro area: trees and poles collapsed, dozens of interventions required

Firefighters in the Nuoro area are overworked due to the damage caused by bad weather and strong winds.

Since the early hours of the morning, two teams from the Central Office and the 115 detachments of Macomer, Siniscola, and Lanusei have been busy securing roadways and urban streets where trees and plants have fallen.

Some power lines and telephone poles were also secured, and work was also carried out on some buildings. Several interventions were delayed due to the numerous calls to the emergency number.
