Wind and rain, violent storms in Trexenta: roads flooded

A violent storm hit Trexenta this afternoon. Heavy rain fell, accompanied by strong gusts of wind.

Flooding has been reported, with debris and mud filling the road, on State Road 547 between Senorbì and Sant'Andrea. In Senorbì, power lines are experiencing problems.

A little further north, in Siurgus Donigala, some of the town's streets ended up under water.

Mandas Mayor Umberto Oppus said, "We are monitoring the development of the violent storm and the damage. I ask for everyone's cooperation: call 115 for firefighters and the Abbanoa toll-free number for manholes and sewers."
