"There is no offensive or harmful expression of dignity, much less that can instigate hatred". So from the stage set up in Piazza Margherita Hack, in Villasimius , General Roberto Vannacci, who chose Sardinia for the first official presentation of his self-produced book "The world upside down". A text that still carries with it the trail of controversy for the controversial sentences contained in the 300 pages now at the top of the Amazon rankings. Perhaps also thanks to the debate and criticism.

«I would rewrite everything exactly like this», he explained before the public meeting to journalists, «maybe I would just adjust some punctuation. The diffusion of the book confirms that I have touched on points that most Italians consider interesting, otherwise they would not have bought and read it».

Among the other contents, also the references to homosexuals: "You are not normal, get over it!". And again: «Normality is heterosexuality. If everything seems normal to you, however, it is the fault of the plots of the international gay lobby".

For the future, Vannacci does not want to close any doors, not even the one that leads to politics: "I am a soldier and I will continue to do so, but as a soldier I have learned not to close any doors and any alternatives, we will see in the future", underlined the ex head of Folgore who has been spending his holidays in southeast Sardinia for years.

The audience is packed in Villasimius: "They instrumentally painted me as a xenophobe and racist, now also a Putinist, is the last epithet" , he underlined when answering questions from journalist Sandro Angioni who spoke with him.
