Aggravated fraud. This is the accusation that a 35-year-old from Maddaloni (Caserta) will have to answer for who defrauded a 43-year-old from Villaputzu by getting paid for a load of pellets that turned out to be "ghost".

The 43-year-old had responded to an advert on the web offering the sale of two pallets with 140 bags of pellets for just 400 euros. Having paid the requested amount, however, he never received the delivery and at that point he realized he had ended up in a "trap" and turned to the police.

After the complaint, the military began investigations, finally tracing the person responsible for the fraudulent announcement: the 35-year-old from Campania, already known to the police for similar attempts to defraud unfortunate people who were not careful enough to carefully evaluate the seriousness or otherwise of the myriad of offers on the Internet.
