Villagrande, Carabinieri in mourning: the station commander has died

He was struck down by illness last night. Ignazio Moretti passed away at the age of 56. He was the commander of the Villagrande Carabinieri station. Last night, during a dinner with relatives, he developed unreassuring symptoms and, despite an immediate medical consultation, in the following hours the marshal suffered a heart attack while he was in Baunei, the town where he was originally from and where he lived with his family. He had been the commander of the Villagrande station since 1998. The condolences of the civil institutions were unanimous.
