The letter sent by the 48-year-old Daniela Depau to her ex-Cagliari lawyer Riccardo Floris, who had defended her and had her acquitted in the trial in which she was accused as a possible instigator of the murder of Rosanna Fiori (Barbagia Flores), costs the woman the sentence to one and a half years of imprisonment for attempted extortion.

In the letter that dates back to 2018, Depau had rejected Floris' request for payment (160 thousand euros), leaving him to understand that he could damage him if he went ahead with a definite and undue claim: according to him the sum was excessive and in any case already partly paid "for both" by his former partner (who was also indicted and acquitted in the trial on the crime).

She also claimed that she had been "forced" to suffer improper attitudes from her former defender. Having received the document, the lawyer had filed a complaint. Yesterday in Cagliari the conviction of the gup Cristina Ornano, which also imposed on the accused the payment of a provisional sum of 5 thousand euros to the civil party, represented by the lawyer Alessandro Corrias. The lawyer Margherita Baragliu, Depau's defender, will appeal on appeal.
