The Sassari Local Health Authority kicks off the open days in the north-west of Sardinia with 7 events to protect the population from respiratory diseases. Alghero, Ozieri, Sassari, Thiesi are the locations where it will be possible to request the administration of the flu, anti-covid, anti-pneumococcal and also herpes zoster vaccines . During the open days, the population will be able to request the administration of vaccines, free of charge and without reservation. It is necessary to present yourself with an identity document and health card; for minors it is necessary to be accompanied by a parent.

In Alghero it starts on January 11th, from 2.30pm to 7pm, and on January 20th, from 9am to 6pm at the Hygiene and Public Health Service, in via Paoli.

In Ozieri on 10 and 17 January, from 2.30 pm to 7 pm at the outpatient clinic in the “Segni” hospital, while in Sassari on 12 January, from 2.30 pm to 7 pm and on 20 January from 9 am to 6 pm in building G, health facility Rizzeddu, in via Rizzeddu.

Finally in Thiesi on 27 January, from 9am to 6pm at the Hygiene and Public Health Service, at the hospital, viale Madonna di Seunis. «As a company we believe that vaccines are a fundamental tool for defeating viruses and bacteria, which is why through the Public Health and Hygiene Service, we are engaged in a vast awareness and vaccination campaign aimed at the entire population. Our operators will be able, on a case-by-case basis, to recommend the best prophylaxis for each person", explains the general director of the Sassari Local Health Authority, Flavio Sensi.
