A night out in the cold for a German tourist in Gorropu . The operations room of the Nuoro Fire Department received, around 1:00 AM last night, the call for help for the man in difficulty.

Two teams of firefighters were sent to the scene from the headquarters in Nuoro and the Tortolì detachment, supported by Sapr specialists with drones and dog units who arrived to support the regional management.

At first light of dawn, the missing person was located and then reached on a ledge at the exit of the Gorropu canyon.

The 115 team, after having verified his good health, took the tourist back to the meeting point where his wife who had raised the alarm was waiting for him.

The Alpine Rescue and the Alpine Rescue of the Guardia di Finanza also operated on site.
