Drinks: two coffees and two bottles of water. Bill: 60 euros. It happens in a well-known bar of a well-known hotel in Porto Cervo, according to the story of two shocked Roman tourists who sent the receipt (yet another of the summer) to the editorial staff of Corriere della Sera.

A few biscuits were also brought to the table. But the sum was still considered too high, even if spent in one of the most expensive locations in the Mediterranean (and beyond).

The two customers asked for an explanation of the figure: «The justification of the managers», they reported, «was that it is not a simple coffee but an experience. However, the reality is a coffee with water and 2 biscuits».

So here's yet another complaint about "hot" receipts. While there are those who, in other places, paid 1.50 euros for their coffee and knew beforehand how it would end up. How can you know in Costa Smeralda.
