The trial of Davide Iannelli , the man accused of having killed his rival Tony Cozzolino by setting him on fire and causing very serious burns, opened with a twist .

This morning Iannelli's defender, the lawyer Abele Cherchi, refused the judge for an act, contained in the file, which would anticipate the judgment .

The Court of Tempio has requested the dates of the hearings of the Court of Assizes of Sassari.

Now the Court of Appeal of Sassari will decide on the recusal . The family members of the man killed in Olbia a year ago were present. Cozzolino's relatives, assisted by lawyers Giampaolo Murrighile, Angelo Merlini and Antonio Fois, have announced the establishment of a civil action.
