Pietro Catzola embraced by his people. This evening, in a packed amphitheater, the chef of the Quirinale presented his book "The cook of the presidents" . Among the audience also the family members of Catzola, born in Triei 63 years ago, of which the last 34 spent in the kitchens of the presidency of the Republic. Catzola recounted his entire experience at the presidential palace. A journey that began on November 6, 1989, called by the president Francesco Cossiga.

Immediately, 23 days later, he prepared the first courses for the state visit of President Gorbachev with his wife Raissa: breakfast in the Sala delle Colonne at noon and a Grand Gala in the evening, in the Imperial Halls.

From there began the adventure in the most important building in Italy. And today Catzola told it to his fellow villagers.
