Daniele Serra, a 34-year-old resident of Villa San Pietro, is the victim of the tragic accident that took place at km 26 + 100 of the SS 195, right in the territory of Villa San Pietro, at via Eleonora d'Arborea.
The man was riding a Suzuki motorcycle, owned by another person, when - due to circumstances under investigation, he collided with a Mitsubishi pickup, driven by a 64-year-old from Pula.
In the impact, the 34-year-old was thrown off the saddle and, unfortunately, the rescues were useless, alerted by the driver of the SUV himself.
On the spot, after the alarm, the firefighters, the 118 staff and the carabinieri intervened.
It was the military who carried out the findings and are now conducting investigations to clarify the exact dynamics of any responsibility for the incident.
