It was a busy night for the Carabinieri of the Cagliari Provincial Command, engaged in an extraordinary territorial control plan during the Halloween celebrations.

The city center's investigation focuses on the fight against property crimes committed by Algerian citizens , guests of the Monastir Anti-Theft Center . On Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, near the " Old Square " pub, a twenty-two-year-old snatched the bag of a customer sitting at the outdoor tables. The escape was stopped, however, by two off-duty officers from the Iglesias Student School, who chased and apprehended the young man after a brief struggle. Also in the heart of the nightlife, on Via Manno near "Zara," Radiomobile patrols reported a twenty-one-year-old for receiving stolen goods. They were intercepted with a jacket stolen last week, still equipped with an anti-theft tag.

As part of the same response, the military handled two serious emergencies. In the current crime news, two young Algerians from downtown Monastir were arrested on Via Roma on charges of sexual assault, after being stopped immediately after groping a woman near a traffic light.

On the road, a serious head-on collision occurred on Via Cagliari in Elmas between a Fiat Panda and a Volkswagen Polo . The impact injured three people: the driver of the Panda was taken to Brotzu Hospital with emergency medical care, while two passengers in the Polo were taken to the Monserrato Polyclinic. None of the injuries are in danger of dying.
