"Enough dogmas on roads, traffic and parking in Cagliari". This is how Alessandro Serra, city secretary of Forza Italia, intervenes on the recent statements of the municipal administration of the capital and following the days of chaos that have followed one another on the streets.

"We must acknowledge that the one-way system on Viale Marconi," Serra continues, "has not yielded, to put it mildly, the desired results and that the daily situation of the median axis, now distorted in its original function, is also the "child" of this decision . Just as the blocking of projects for underground parking in the center was an ideological and wrong choice."

According to the Forza Italia member, "instead of persevering with a doctrinal, short-sighted and almost authoritarian vision, we need to have the humility and courage to review an approach that doesn't work. This also applies to cycle paths. We understand the position of those who contributed on a technical and political level to those choices", he concludes, "but we cannot entrench ourselves in a strenuous defense of a model that on a practical level has produced more costs, not only economic, than benefits".
