On the morning of Sunday 1 February, the Carabinieri of Tortolì reported a 38-year-old man of Moroccan origins believed to be responsible for extortion against a young man from Tortolì.

The incriminating episode – as reported in a note from the military – dates back to the evening of October 2nd when the boy, sitting on a bench in Corso Umberto, was approached by his attacker who forced him, with physical and verbal threats , to hand over his wallet containing 60 euros .

The breakthrough came thanks to the analysis of video surveillance images and the investigations conducted by the military, who managed to trace the identity of the perpetrator.
