The alarm was raised around 6 a.m. today. The flames broke out inside the Sanlorenzo warehouse, a nautical giant that has been operating in the Tortolì industrial area for several years.

Waste materials accumulated in huge one-cubic-meter bins ended up in ashes. Here, the workers piled up resins and other plastic products, all residues from construction projects related to the construction of hull prototypes destined for the international luxury yachting market.

Firefighters arrived quickly from the station adjacent to the warehouse where the fire broke out. There's no doubt about the cause: spontaneous combustion. Any other external source was immediately ruled out.
