Sports, even professional ones, can go well with university studies. This is demonstrated by goalkeeper Andrea Zaccagno, who graduated in Business Economics, and midfielder Alessandro Masala, who graduated in Motor Sciences. Both have completed the course while playing in Serie C with Torres.
The two rossoblù players, accompanied by President Stefano Udassi, participated this morning in the meeting organized by the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Sassari, which is part of the "allena_menti" project, an initiative aimed at promoting physical and mental well-being through access to education, with particular attention to those who combine a sports career and academic training.
The event took place on the ground floor of the Ciancilla building (formerly Magistero) in Sassari, Piazza Conte di Moriana 8, and saw the participation of numerous university students attentive to the theme testified by the professors Simonetta Falchi, Alessandra Cattani and the rossoblù. Also present were the delegations of the major sports realities of Sassari, as well as the boxing champion Tore Erittu.
Goalkeeper Zaccagno explained: "I decided to graduate in Business Economics because I believe it is important to try to secure a future parallel to the world of football given the constant uncertainty that reigns in our world. I also believe it can be important on a cultural level and as a daily stimulus."
Teammate Masala echoed him: « I graduated in Sports Science and I have always continued my studies, in addition to football, because I believe they are important both for personal culture and for my/our path».
