Abuse during fake mole treatment: "So-called healer" arrested in Oristano . A woman seeking employment reports the abuse she suffered at one of the suspect's premises. Chat conversations analyzed by police proved crucial. As part of an investigation, police placed a man accused of sexual assault under house arrest. The order was issued by the investigating judge at the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office, following investigations conducted by the Flying Squad and a complaint filed by a woman who had reported being a victim of sexual abuse.

According to the investigation , the woman, while looking for work, allegedly came into contact with the suspect through an acquaintance. After suggesting he had found her a job opportunity and establishing a relationship of trust, the man allegedly convinced her that he possessed special healing abilities, proposing that she undergo a supposed "treatment" aimed at removing some moles on her body.

The subsequent encounter allegedly took place inside a premises owned by the suspect. According to the prosecution's reconstruction, the alleged treatment gradually took on a sexual connotation , with repeated touching of the woman's private parts and other behaviors she endured, placing herself in a situation of great discomfort and subjugation. The victim, deeply distressed by the incident, left the room and confided what had happened to several people close to her. In the days immediately following, she contacted the Oristano police and filed a complaint.

The woman's statements were corroborated by numerous significant investigative reports. Specifically, analysis of the conversations between the victim and the suspect allowed us to reconstruct the sequence of events , from the initial contact regarding the proposed job opportunity, to the instructions given regarding preparation for the alleged treatment, up to the discussions following the meeting. Further information emerged from the statements made by those with knowledge of the facts, to whom the victim had confided what had happened and who had witnessed her profound distress.

The preliminary investigations judge , agreeing with the circumstantial evidence presented by the Public Prosecutor's Office, particularly regarding the risk of repeating similar behavior and the risk of tampering with evidence, has ordered the suspect placed under house arrest. The investigation is continuing to determine the possible involvement of other women who may have been subjected to similar "treatments" by the self-styled healer.
