There's a calf in the middle of the road: collision on the 131 in Macomer, two cars involved

Two cars were involved in a collision that occurred this morning, shortly after 7:30 on state road 131 , at kilometer 150 , between the Birori junction and the northern one of Macomer. The accident was caused by a calf that was freely circulating in the middle of the road, probably escaped from a nearby farm. One of the cars involved, to avoid the impact with the animal, braked suddenly.

Another car, which was proceeding in the same direction, could not avoid the impact. A patrol of the Macomer traffic police detachment, the fire brigade and the emergency vehicles intervened on the spot. The occupants of the two vehicles were rescued, but it is not yet known how many people were involved.
