Thefts in Quartu and Torre delle Stelle: three arrests
Stolen a camera, a TV, a microwave oven and 2 thousand euros
Three arrests in Quartu Sant'Elena for home thefts. A 48-year-old, a 33-year-old and a 30-year-old, all with police records, ended up in handcuffs.
The first episode occurred in via Asproni where the owner, upon returning home, discovered that someone had broken the window pane in the bedroom, stealing 2 thousand euros and a camera. The police officers, having viewed the video surveillance images, recognized the person in charge, a 48-year-old who was immediately stopped. In his apartment there was the camera removed shortly before.
The other intervention is that of Torre delle Stelle: a security officer had noticed a couple wandering around the residential complex with suspicion. The policemen have identified and arrested them for the theft in the house from which a 43-inch TV and a microwave oven have disappeared. The couple was arrested and the judge, at the end of the validation hearing, after plea bargaining, sentenced the two to 2 years, 2 and 8 months of imprisonment.
