«Since last October 4, over fifty students of the Master's Degree in Architecture at the University of Cagliari, supported by their teachers, have begun to meet in working groups to start preparatory studies in view of inspections and in-depth analyzes of the public spaces of the historic center of Arzachena".

Professor Gianmarco Chiri stated this: the activities in question take place within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Municipality of Arzachena and the Department of Civil, Environmental Engineering and Architecture of the University of Cagliari for the promotion of the quality of the landscape, the architecture and territory.

As part of the “InternoUrbano” project, there will be the analysis of the “neighborhood”, «from multiple disciplinary points of view with field work from 23 to 25 October. The objective – continued Chiri – is to enhance its formal qualities, its urban planning effectiveness, guarantee its accessibility and improve the social relations and human activities that take place there».

Tuesday 24 October, from 6pm to 7pm, at Cantine Surrau, Filippo Bricolo returns to Arzachena together with his colleague, Fiorenzo Valbonesi, author of award-winning architecture including "Le cantine del Bruciato". Together they will offer a lesson to students, but also to architects and engineers who will be able to obtain professional training credits. The evening's program is completed by the presentation of the book "New Italian wineries, territories and architecture" by Roberto Bosi and Francesca Chiorino. «The activities that we have been carrying out for 3 years alongside the University of Cagliari place Arzachena at the center as a case study», states the Tourism councilor, Claudia Giagoni.
