Flavio Sensi is once again the general director of the Sassari local health authority.

The reinstatement was approved by Alessandra Todde's Regional Council in compliance with the TAR ruling that upheld the appeal of the former manager , who had been replaced by a special commissioner last spring.

The appointment of a commissioner to the Sardinian local health authorities (ASL) was deemed unlawful by the Constitutional Court. While other managers who were forced to leave their positions filed an extraordinary appeal with the President of the Republic, Sensi was the only one to appeal to the administrative courts within the deadline. On January 15th, the TARI (Regional Tax on Land and Sea) ruled in his favor, and now the Regional Council is complying.

The Directorate General of Health, according to a statement from Villa Devoto, "is responsible for notifying the interested parties of the resolution and for taking all subsequent enforcement actions. The measure is declared immediately enforceable to ensure its effectiveness."
