The school bus for disabled people has left: Giorgia Pinna, autistic, returns to class after a month and a half
The mother had reported the disservice on social media, now she can claim victory. And with her many young people with similar pathologiesThe long-awaited return to class finally happened: this morning Giorgia Pinna (17 years old) finally took advantage of the school bus service for disabled children . The very young girl from Ittiri, suffering from a type three form of autism, had been forced to go to Sassari schools accompanied by her parents for weeks .
A similar situation for many other kids with similar pathologies. Cause of the disservice: the provincial tender for the assignment of the school bus service was unsuccessful .
Giorgia's mother, Maria Luisa Scanu , relying on her social channels, had denounced the serious disservice. After the thousands of shares and views of the post, the Province did not stand idly by: yesterday it contacted Scanu announcing the restart of the service, which actually took place today.
A real breath of fresh air for the Pinna family and those of many other young people. Upon entering the bus this morning there was also a moment of joy and conviviality, with photos and videos testifying to the battle won.
«Everything went well – declared an emotional Maria Luisa Scanu – Giorgia was very happy. We had to fight for a month and a half, fighting for a sacrosanct right that should not be denied to anyone . We did it and we can only be happy about it."
