The Attorney General's Office has officially taken over the investigation into the case of Rosa Bechere, the 62-year-old woman from Olbia who has been missing since November 25, 2022.

In the case – which has so far been followed by the Tempio Public Prosecutor's Office – a couple from Olbia is being investigated for voluntary homicide and concealment of a corpse , but so far no incriminating evidence has been found against them.

The Attorney General's Office, taking over the investigation, has however ordered further investigations, which will be coordinated in collaboration with the deputy prosecutor of Tempio, Alessandro Bosco.

Bechere is the wife of Davide Iannelli , currently in prison on charges of killing his "rival" Tony Cozzolino , a crime for which the man was sentenced to life imprisonment.

Since last December, Iannelli's lawyers, Abele and Cristina Cherchi, have been calling for new investigations into the mystery of the 62-year-old.
