Over four thousand applications and 1,492 interviews : these are just some of the (record) numbers of the second stage of Job Sardinia, an event aimed at bringing together supply and demand, in this case, in the territories of the North East of the island. One hundred and fifteen companies, of which 72 in presence and 43 online, the Gallura Job Day opened this morning, at the "Costa Smeralda" in Olbia.

«It is a great opportunity for supply and demand to meet , the companies have responded by making over four thousand places available, therefore large numbers – stated the director of Aspal, Maika Aversano – Behind this event is a strong commitment from the Sardinia Region, of Aspal and its employment centers. This day is not only dedicated to the unemployed looking for work but also to the many students who need to know in order to choose their future."

And the mayor of Olbia, Settimo Nizzi, also mentioned the students. «Having chosen to do this initiative in this area means that Olbia is the symbol of development not only of tourism but also of work . We have a great need to grow from this point of view - underlined the mayor - our young people must study a lot and have the tools to do so. We must create the favorable conditions for this development."

The companies, hunting for candidates, mainly from the tourism-hotel sector, the nautical sector (with a growth in technical-administrative assistance services for nautical services from charters to assistance for large yachts) and also from other production sectors, from services to construction, to maintenance, to highly innovative activities such as telecommunications companies. For the first time, a space where companies were able to present their mission to students: more than 1000 from the upper fifth classes were present while 3rd and 4th graders participated via streaming . Twenty-three stands of institutions and some dedicated to local sports clubs - Olbia Calcio1905, Pallavolo Hermea, Tennis Club Terranova; 19 stands reserved for training institutions that presented their training offer.
