The “Marmidda in Sardinian language” project has been launched, an initiative involving the municipalities of Ales, Baressa, Baradili, Gonnoscodina, Mogorella, Morgongiori, Pau, Ruinas, Senis, Usellus and Villa Verde. Various activities are planned in the project , including the opening of a language desk , already active, hosted by the Municipality of Ales.

It will be available to users on all the information concerning the Sardinian language and its use in relations with the Public Administration and in other contexts, for bibliographic, spelling and grammatical, website consultancy, on the didactic and legal-regulatory sides regarding the Sardinian. Furthermore, two training and literacy courses in the Sardinian language will be organised, open to the population.

Finally, the organization of a cultural activity entitled "Alberi su calàsciu", which aims to bring out unpublished literary works by local authors or on aspects of cultural identity, as long as they are written in the Sardinian language, with the aim of publishing them. The service, operating for 12 hours a week (Wednesdays and Fridays from 8am to 2pm) will be operational until November 30th.
