"Enough with territorial imbalances. The Nuorese and the internal areas must have the same opportunities as other territories". After the president of Confindustria of Central Sardinia Giovanni Bitti, also the president of the Network of Associations - Development Communities, Gianmario Senes, writes to the president of the Region Alessandra Todde and of the regional council, Piero Comandini, "so that a path of sharing can begin that can give these territories equal dignity". According to Gianmario Senes, "we need a new and courageous approach to policies and choices of development and investment". The president of the network of Associations - Development Communities, in the letter, recalls "the many negative territorial data that also emerged in the recent survey on quality of life, low birth rate, health, infrastructure, transport and much more, which push us to find extraordinary measures, capable of influencing and giving a turning point and greater opportunities to the territory".

According to Senes, " we need adequate advantageous tax policies . The Special Economic Zone is good, but it has limited effects on inland Sardinia and does not help to overcome imbalances. We need to reopen a major dispute for a new rebirth, putting work and quality of services back at the center. President Todde, the Executive and the entire Regional Council should listen to and welcome the umpteenth appeal launched by inland Sardinia."
