The wall of secrecy that investigators have erected on the double homicide investigation, opened after the discovery of the bodies of the salesman Luigi Gulisano, 79, and his wife Marisa Dessì, 82, discovered on December 5 in a study of their home in via Ghibli, in Cagliari, is inviolable. The feeling, however, is that the Prosecutor's Office and the Carabinieri can reach a breakthrough quickly.

For days now there has been a constant coming and going in the office of Deputy Prosecutor Rossana Allieri, the person in charge of the case, but on the third floor of the Palace of Justice the silence is absolute.

The Prosecutor's Office and the Carabinieri have quietly deployed their best men to follow the trail of the double voluntary homicide. In these two weeks, the military have collected an infinite amount of information about the couple: from personal and family relationships to friendships, from real estate to financial assets. A meticulous job to reconstruct the network of relationships and verify whether anyone may have had reasons for hatred or resentment towards the two pensioners to think of harming them.
